In my previous post, I concluded with the statement, “So next time your life trials are getting you down, I want you to really consider, is it loss; or gain? Look back and study your life’s path taken. I’m sure you will realize it is to “your gain.””
This is almost like a guided meditation. I want you too take a good look BACK at your life. I don’t want you to reinvent any painful moments in your past; merely look back at those major “forks in the road.”
When I did this, I’m very grateful for the choices that I made at the time. All of them taught me valuable life lessons. There are things in my life now that would not have occurred, IF I would have taken the road unchanged. I wouldn’t be here writing to you at this very moment.
I’ll give you an example. When my husband Roger and I relocated to Texas, I started working for a telecom company. I worked my way from department to department, working my way out of jobs by automating their processes, gleaning experience as I journeyed along. Then I stumbled upon the Training department in the position of a “courseware developer.” That’s a writing job, where I would write the training classes that would be delivered by a teacher. I also did all their graphic design and intra-net development.
After about five years with this company, a “contract worker” came in to format some our classes from the template that I designed. Basically, all of the documents for the classes had to have the same look and feel to them and they had me working on other things. This contractor was getting paid $35 an hour to do this simple formatting and she was very slow!
That day changed my life. I thought to myself, “If I’m this companies top developer, why am I not making that kind of money?” The answer was simple; FEAR (false evidence appearing real) . I was scared to leave a “comfortable” full-time job and venture off on my own.
I had all sorts of thoughts that were fear related. “Contractors can have lulls between jobs and we needed my salary to keep on track.” “What if nobody wants me!” Whaa!
Well, I thought and thought about it. Then Roger said, “Just do it.” So I revamped my resume and found a head-hunter (job search agency.)
That year I doubled my income. Every interview I went to they would say, “We don’t need to look further. When can you start? You’re hired.” It went this way for EVERY job where I applied, “Stop the interviews! We want you!”
If I wouldn’t have taken that big step, I wouldn’t have also learn Technical Writing. With my prior skills as a graphic artist and web developer, combined together, I was quite the “hot commodity” in Dallas.
I know a lot of you are facing major life-changing events. It’s all part of the Ascension of our plant to a higher vibrational frequency. It probably feels like your lives are coming apart; well, they are, but, believe it or not; YOU WANTED TO BE HERE FOR IT!
So, you say that you are going through a divorce, and have three small children. Of course you are devastated, you’re entire world is changing before your eyes. You might have to move, find a job, and totally re-invent yourself. Try not to look at this as a bad thing.
I want you to find gratitude in this situation. Remember; through gratitude there is grace. Grace is a gift from the Father; it’s everything. It’s the very thing that will change your life, and that is what you require at this very moment. You can create your own affirmations:
- I AM grateful for my beautiful children.
- I AM grateful for this opportunity to shine.
- I AM grateful for…
In order to “manifest” our wants and desires, we need to have the Grace of Father readily at our fingertips. Always look at the bright side even when it seems dim. These vibrational frequencies are higher and will bring you what you desire.
Don’t choose the wrong turn in the road because of fear; you are a beautiful child of God. What parent wouldn’t want you to be successful and loved; to do better than themselves?
Take that step and put yourself out there. You might be surprised what is in store for you!
